Addendum: How to vote in our July 30 primaries

Addendum

Primary Voting

The primary election next Tuesday will determine which candidates will represent their party in the general election this November.

If your Democratic or Republican candidate of choice doesn’t win their party primary next week, you won’t see them on the general ballot later this year.

To vote in the primaries:

1. If you have a mail-in ballot, you’ll need to put it in the mail today!
2. If you want to vote early in-person, stop by the County Recorder’s office by Friday.
3. If you want to vote in-person on July 30, find your nearest voting center and be sure to bring your ID.
4. If you’re not already registered to vote, you wont be able to vote in the primaries (you needed to be registered by July 1), but you can still register to vote for the general election.

If you’re registered as an independent/unaffiliated, you can still vote in the Republican and Democratic primaries, but only in one or the other.

If you still have election questions, check out the Cochise County voter guide.

And if you want the Ground Party Pulse’s in-depth guide on the candidates, you can read it here. But you’ll have to pony up a little cash for a paid subscription. It takes a lot of hours to do all this work!

Feedback for the Ground Party Pulse analysis:

“WOW!!!!   Christian, this is GREAT!   I'm speechless at this point.”

“This is tremendously useful data, Christian, and I know it was a lot of work to collect and analyze it.”

“The section on BOS candidates is excellent.  Really appreciate the way this was done … Thanks.”

“Thank you I really appreciate this analysis.”

“Thank you for putting this together Christian.”

The Ground Party Papers are issued every first and third Sunday of the month.

To make sure the Ground Party Papers stays in your Primary inbox instead of the “Promotions” tab, add [email protected] to your contacts list.

Thanks for reading!
